Recruiter Snapshot

I help teams move complex platforms without losing the plot: clarify boundaries, prove risky paths early and leave behind systems that are easier to operate.

  • Current NATO/EU SECRET-level security clearance and previous NATO Headquarters experience in high-trust operational environments.
  • Master of Science in Information Technology and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
  • Current railway assignment combines primary React/TypeScript frontend ownership, Web API contract design, backend support, Azure Event Hubs integration adapter delivery, GIS workflow integration, migration planning and architecture coordination.
  • Repeated delivery in regulated and operationally sensitive domains: NATO, financial services, insurance, industrial engineering and railway systems.
  • Comfortable owning complete delivery slices when needed: clarifying requirements, defining contracts, implementing UI/API/integration pieces, testing and documenting the result.
  • Strong record in modernization, performance recovery, data migration, event-driven systems, secure identity flows and maintainable frontend architecture.

Engineering Principles

The way I prefer to make architecture useful: clear boundaries, testable contracts, secure defaults and systems teams can maintain.

Pragmatic architecture first

Architecture should clarify decisions, constraints and ownership. It should make delivery easier for the team using it, not heavier.

Contracts before coupling

OpenAPI contracts, explicit integration boundaries and independent validation reduce coordination cost between frontend, backend and platform teams.

Secure by default

Identity, secret handling, access windows, auditability and least-privilege boundaries belong in the design, not as late-stage cleanup.

Maintainability is a feature

Reusable components, clean service boundaries, tests, readable documentation and observable deployments keep systems affordable after the first release.

Professional Experience

Enterprise software delivery, integration architecture, cloud-enabled systems and hands-on engineering.

  1. 2025/01 - Present

Technical Architect / Senior Full-Stack Engineer

0101 BV - Client assignment for Ypto (SNCB/NMBS Group)

Railway enterprise applications, primary React frontend ownership, Web API contract design, Azure Event Hubs integration adapter delivery and solution architecture contribution.

Current assignment combining hands-on full-stack delivery with increasing solution-architecture responsibility for business-critical railway applications in the SNCB/NMBS environment.

    Frontend ownership and API contracts

    • Act as the primary frontend developer for a React, TypeScript and Material UI application, delivering reusable components, stateful workflows and production-ready user flows.
    • Create and maintain contract-first Web API definitions with OpenAPI-generated clients, MSW-based mock services and clear request/response boundaries for backend collaboration.
    • Support backend delivery when needed across .NET Web API, Entity Framework Core, Microsoft SQL Server, Redis and integration services.
    • Maintain high software quality through automated testing, 90%+ unit-test coverage and strict SonarQube quality controls.

    Architecture, identity and platform

    • Support identity and access-management changes, including migration from TrustBuilder to Microsoft Entra ID.
    • Contribute to solution and technical architecture decisions, infrastructure requirements, security documentation and coordination with product owners, domain architects, test teams and platform teams.
    • Support deployment and operation in containerized Kubernetes environments using AKS, Helm, Jenkins and GitLab-based delivery pipelines.

    Modernization and performance

    • Improve application and database performance, reducing selected response times from approximately 12 seconds to under 500 milliseconds.
    • Design migration solutions for legacy PHP applications to modern .NET Web API and Blazor technologies while preserving existing functional behavior and integration contracts.
    • Independently designed and delivered Azure Event Hubs integration adapter work with hexagonal architecture, provider abstraction, message enrichment and independent validation tooling for GIS-related railway workflows.

    • Integrated Apache Kafka, Apache Flink and RabbitMQ for continuous streams of financial business events.
    • Worked with MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS for operational data storage, transformation and integration.
    • Supported Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, Terraform, documentation, peer reviews and Level 2 production support through ServiceNow.
  3. 2022/01 - 2022/10

    Senior Full-Stack Developer

    • Built .NET Framework WinForms applications with DevExpress grids, interactive multi-series charts and dynamically generated configuration forms.
    • Designed RESTful backend services with C#, .NET Core Web API, MediatR, Entity Framework and Microsoft SQL Server.
    • Implemented asynchronous job submission, task identifiers, status polling, progress visualization and controlled parallel processing for resource-intensive calculations.
    • Created validation tooling to compare legacy and new endpoints across approximately 100,000 compressor configurations.
  4. 2018/04 - 2021/12
